The Hakuba HG-503MX three leg section and HG-504MX four leg section carbon fiber tripods and 3-way pan heads are traditional units that offer the combination of lightweight carbon fiber legs with the strength and lightness of a magnesium alloy chassis and pan head. The carbon fiber legs assemblies are made though a pultrusion process technology which produces extremely light weight and structurally rigid leg assemblies. The magnesium alloy chassis and pan head are two thirds the weight of aluminum and one quarter weight of steel and is far superior to aluminum or steel in terms of vibration absorption, anticorrosion, dimensional stability and overall strength.
